Did you catch the play on words?

I went to visit one of my best friends and college roomie in Seattle last weekend.

And because it was a weekend away, there was an element of 'sleeping in' involved!

This city is so much fun... even when it rains!

Besides acting like tourists in Seattle, we also:

went to a yard sale

saw a waterfall

went to a Korean Spa

enjoyed wine and cheese

shopped at goodwill (we like bargain shopping!)

more wine and cheese

& attempted to pack all the purchases from bargain shopping into the carry on I brought...

the only thing better...

We are so thankful to these mom's who have become such great grandma's to our kids!

It's a happy Mother's Day, indeed!
