Popsicle afternoons...

We're taking advantage of the nice weather, while we still can.
It has become custom for a certain 3-year-old to request a popsicle {everyday} after nap time.
I guess I'll let him indulge until the popsicle starts melting faster than he can lick.

spring happenings

Our church hosted a community easter egg hunt last weekend.
(although it wasn't so much of a hunt as it was an egg clean up.)
I tried to use peer pressure to get Charlie to wear bunny ears, but he wasn't hearing it.
"Cade's wearing bunny ears... he is having so much fun!..."
Charlie was a little confused and almost annoyed that there wasn't much 'hunting' in this easter egg hunt (unlike what we've been practicing- where the eggs are actually hidden) so he came up with his own plan of collecting only green eggs to go in his green basket.
Pretty creative, Charlie boy.
I guess I can get over your refusal to wear the bunny ears with that display of cuteness.
Speaking of displays of cuteness:
(I was referring to Ethan with his belly exposed again, not myself...)
Charlie was too busy doing this...
...to come over and join a family picture:

early easter egg hunt

My friend Erin is leaving next week for Kenya for 2 months (tear*) so she decided to have an early easter egg hunt for some cute kids before they left.
[Charlie was all about the practice.]
& it turns out that plastic eggs keep Ethan entertained for a good 30 minutes.
