Ethan's ice cream social!

We had a fun night celebrating our 4 year old at the pool with friends.

Buddies.

Ethan chose the topping selection:  

m&m's, gummy bears, sprinkles, cherries, chocolate syrup and whipped cream!

I don't think they like it...

Hume Lake

It was a great week.

I got to hang out with one of my dearest friends and we got to enjoy seeing our kids play together.

The kids loved day camp, pancake breakfast, the pool's diving board, and the fish in the lake 

{to name a few}

I got winded from the altitude and the hills, but it probably did my pregnant body some good.

We stayed up way to late and made s'mores.

I got to visit with Biola friends I haven't seen in awhile and got to hear one of my old professors speak.

It was a great week.

surf camp

Our little dude went to surf camp last week.

I don't know if he was more excited about this adventure or his dad...

crafty contributions

I had the joy of being 'craft coordinator' for my MOPS group this year.

It was a perfect way to use my creative side as I tried to choose crafts that {most women} would actually like.  

[not an easy job, btw]

So, we got kind of comfortable as a family of four.

Then God surprised us:  there's going to be ONE MORE.

Will it be boy #3 or a Hedrick girl?

We're feeling blessed with this news... that's FOR SURE!
