We had a great week at CCV's camp in Prescott. We loved getting to know their staff and their hearts for children's ministry. It was a rainy week in Prescott! Even yesterday on the 4th- we were able to hit up the festivities for a little while (where Charlie tried cotton candy and wasn't so sure about it!)... then we went to a 'pool party' with the UCYC staff, but weren't able to swim because of the downpour. Although the college summer staffers jumped in anyway- oh to be young and crazy again! We were going to stay and watch fireworks but that didn't happen because of the storm, so we ended up driving back last night while Charlie slept (perfect timing, actually). As for fireworks- we had a beautiful lightning display on our drive home. It was as if God was saying, "You want a light show in the sky?... I'll show you how it's done."
