Chris came home early from work yesterday and we were trying to figure out a fun family activity besides the usual neighborhood park. I thought of going to Val Vista Lakes to swim (it's a heated pool...) but we arrived to find a "pool closed" sign. It was heartbreaking because Charlie was already in his swim suit and kept saying, "swimming, please?"
Plan B:
We pulled out his kiddie play pool and filled it with part hose water/part hot tub water.
And this is how we went swimming in February.
