I watched the niece & nephew today- Charlie was thrilled to have playmates.
I was amazed at how fast 3 toddlers could make a mess. All the sand was displaced in the yard and dirt was dumped out of potted plants in less than 1/2 hour. I just watched and laughed at how much more chaotic it was as they all copied each other's actions. I tried cleaning up after them at first, but thought, "if you can't beat them; join them". Amber just laughed at me when I explained this to her because this is her life. And I guess it will be mine shortly as well...
Oh- and then to add more mess to the mix. Charlie woke up early from his nap and I went in there to see what the problem was. The problem was poop all over his sheets and he had stepped in it. Seriously gross. I knew we didn't have #2 down for potty training yet, but this confirmed that in a BIG way.
