Charlie & I went up to visit Chris at UCYC for a few days this week.
We have made it back safely with no contractions or any trips to Yavapai Regional Medical Center- which was plan B (just in case.) When Chris gets home from speaking tomorrow, he is officially done with camps for this summer and we can focus on what is coming next for us in the next 2 weeks! Charlie couldn't be happier than being at camp because it's cooler weather with lots of room to run and watching the big kids play games- hence the whole ride home, he repeated, "I go camping again?"
Chris & I love hanging out with camp & ministry friends we only see a few times a year. Charlie wanted to wear black converse just like Karl.
& here's Jen & I. She was my driving up to Prescott buddy and unofficial 'nanny' when Charlie would go a little too far and I didn't feel like getting up off my comfy camp chair to chase him.
Outside our cabin, Charlie would recruit anyone & everyone to race cars down this hill.
I wonder what next summer will be like with a 3 year old and 1 year old...
Jen, are you willing to be a 'nanny' again?
