We met Chris & the kids from church up at Winter Camp on Saturday. It was raining when we left our house, but we arrived to this:

It was Ethan's first time seeing snow. He kept calling the snow, "NO!" (but that
is one of his newest words that he uses
a lot..., so maybe he was just saying "no".)

We taught E how to throw snowballs, which turned out to be a mistake for a few reasons. 1. He has good aim. 2. My new camera was in jeopardy as I tried to photo shoot the snowball throwing. 3. Because on the drive home, I gave him my ice water to keep him entertained and he
threw the ice, IN THE CAR! I guess in his little one-year-old mind, he thought, "If it's cold, I'm allowed to throw it."

Disclaimer: I have a lot to learn on the new camera. It was on the wrong setting and most of the pictures turned out dark. Lesson learned: When you want cute pictures of your kids in snow, don't experiment... just keep it in auto mode until you figure out how to work this thing. So instead of more cute pictures from this weekend in Prescott, I leave you with a picture of Charlie seeing snow for the first time: (oh- he was cute!)
