We just celebrated 'Easter in the Park' with Charlie's preschool class.
It was fun seeing him play with the friends he talks about all the time:
They decorated bags for the egg hunt:
They ate treats:
They had a chapel service in the park:
(& being the children's pastor's wife that I am, I thought their idea was so cute. The kids were already pretty rowdy being at the park, so they utilized that energy! They had the kids standing around the parachute and told the story of Jesus dying on the cross using colors. So, they had the kids be really quiet while they explained "red is for Jesus' blood that he shed for us..." and then they threw in a red ball and let the kids go crazy shaking the parachute, and so on...)
They lined up to run down the hill for the egg hunt:
