soccer season

It's been fun watching Charlie's soccer debut this season.
Today at breakfast, he announced that he wanted to make 4 goals.
We tried to remind him that we are happy if he plays hard, even if he doesn't make any goals.
But, he follows through with his 'goals of making goals'.
We are proud at the way he is resilient, even when he gets kicked by an opponent that should have been a 'red flag' in Chris' opinion.
He runs fast and has become more aggressive though out the season.
We just need to work on his bad attitude when it's his quarter to sit out.
Today, he said, "I don't want to stop playing!"
(despite the sweat pouring from his forehead)...
