It's a classic.
I probably watched it a dozen times as a kid.
It's harmless, right?
Well, as we watched this film as a family the other night- I watched it as a mother of a 3 year old. Those friends of Charlie Brown were so mean to not invite him to the Halloween party. And at one point they called Linus, "stupid" for believing in the great pumpkin.
I wondered if Charlie picked up on all these unkind words.
When it was over, Chris teased him by saying "I'm going to take some of your candy after we go trick-or-treating!"
Charlie responded, "NO YOU'RE NOT, YOU BLOCK-HEAD!"
And now this 'classic' is banned.
