Our family is also celebrating adoption again as we wait for Garrett- Charlie's 1st boy cousin! Scott and Amber are waiting on their court date and embassy 'ok' to go get their son in Ethiopia. We are so excited for them and praying these legal matters go smoothly so they can bring him home SOON!

Celebrating adoption ONCE AGAIN!!!
We had a family from church over for dinner tonight who adopted their daughter at birth (Mariah's now 13) and it was so much fun getting to know them and hearing their adoption story (another account of God's faithfulness- AWESOME!). Mariah was such a sweetheart and was so open about sharing her feelings regarding adoption. She said she doesn't remember ever being told she was adopted- it was always talked about. Her mom used to tell her adoption story to her at bedtime night after night about how God brought her to their family. SO COOL! Anyway, it was refreshing for us to see this family's love for each other and the bond they shared and made me excited to start sharing Charlie's story with him!

Hi, I do not know how I stumbled onto your blog, but my name is Mariah Hedrick in real life, so I thought, well, heck might as well say hi.
