summer officially begins for the hedrick fam. we are off to prescott today to UCYC for our first camp with our 5th-6th grade kids from church. we have a great group of kids and leaders going and charlie will have fun up there running around and watching the big kids' activities. one thing that we love about our new church is that a lot of the high school and college age students volunteer with the elementry kids (which is awesome) and an opportunity for us to mentor them as well. we're also excited because our friend kevin marr is leading worship this week so we'll be able to catch up with him and whitney!
things you can pray for:
- a safe week (i'm also the unofficial 'camp nurse' and hope for minimal injuries)
- connecting with our kids and leaders
- enough energy to keep up with these kids and give them an unforgetable week
- great times of worship
- for more kids to learn about Jesus
- that we as a family and the leaders from our church represent Him well
