Ethan is 7 months today!
I took my favorite blue eyed, toothless baldie to a gymboree class yesterday where we met up with our friends Chisa & Brooklyn.
It was great to have some one-on-one time (big bro was at preschool) and focus on Ethan's reaction to the new experiences.
The theme was tactile stimulation in this class and they even brought out a few things to touch I would have never thought of (like sand paper and bubble wrap...).
When all the balls rolled into the middle, Ethan grabbed onto two and wouldn't let them go.
I would put a scarf on his head and he would quickly grab it to pull it off.
And of course, gymboree's famous bubble time was a big hit.
Our little trial class reminded me to be intentional to give Ethan experiences that are appropriate for his developmental level. I've been so stuck on toddler activities that I forget what [simple] things are a new experience and sensation for him.
