Week #2 of Moses we got to the good stuff:
the parting of the Red Sea.
Cade & Eden were over to play and got to be included.
We read the story first, then sang our worship song of the month:
"Our God is so BIG, so strong and so mighty...
there's nothing our God cannot do."
(Now we see who can shout 'BIG' the loudest which the boys loved of course.)
Our activity for the night was pretty fun- props to Chris for coming up with this one because I had no idea what we were going to do to demonstrate the Red Sea parting.
I baked a cake earlier in the day and frosted it with blue frosting.
We used some of Charlie's little people to be the Israelites.
How are they going to get across?
God made the way!
Each of the kids took turns walking the people on the dry land where the sea had parted.
And then we ate the cake.
Yum. Yum.

I LOVE it! Eden was just telling me about the whole thing an hour ago. (over and over again, of course) But she totally got it too!
GREAT JOB!
She told me you took pictures, so we're having fun looking at these.
Thanks again, Team Hedrick! :)
