December 1st

I was just thinking about Halloween.

I know, I know...it's December 1st...so hear me out.

We were trick or treating in our neighborhood with the cousins and Charlie was having a blast.  After collecting candy at about 10 houses, he skipped down the sidewalk and shouted, 

"It's Christmas time!"

Chris and I just looked at each other and laughed.  We didn't have the heart to tell him, 

"wrong holiday buddy."

So when I thought about his mistaken shout of exclamation today, I saw it in a new light.

He was having the most fun EVER and in his 2 year old brain he associated that much excitement with Christmas time.

So now the season starts.

I'm hoping it's a month filled with that same joy (that he now expects!) for our family and yours.
