This year is starting off with it's own set of tree issues.
Last year we had no luck finding a real tree (see this post).
And then our fake tree toppled over ( see this post.)
This year we have a spiffy pre-lit tree that is supposed to be problem free.
One strand of lights refuses to be lit.
Now, my husband is a lot of things, but an electrician is not one of them.
We've accepted our tree issues.

my parents' old tree used to do that! It randomly switched which section is unlit. They just wrap a white light strand around that area to compensate, but it's still a pain! Such a bummer!
