post time-out talk

me: "Why did I put you in time out?"

Charlie: "I don't know."

me: "because you were hitting Ethan with your cars."

Charlie: "No, I hit him with one red truck."

me: Well, then. That's why you went to time out.

{other cuteness:}

We were headed to a play date at a new friend's house and Charlie said,

"He is going to play with me and share with me!"

(my thoughts? I hope so!)

I saw a nerdy, but cute boy on t.v. and said, "Ahh- he's cute!"

and Charlie said, "Who? Me or E-fan?"

(guess he's pretty confident that only boys I think are cute are those two.)

Charlie's been answering questions with a certain phrase lately:

me: "Are you having fun in the bounce house?"

him: "Of course I am!"

me: "Are you going to find slug-bugs while we're driving?"

him: "Of course I am!"

me: "Are you being nice to your brother?"

him: "Of course I am!"

{obviously not true all the time- refer to time out mentioned at the start of this post...}
