summer survival, splash pad edition

I'm not sure who conceptualized the 'splash pad', but here in Arizona- it's all the rave.
The kids love it and we mom's are happy it's free! :)
(They even have companies that design a splash pad in your backyard... I tried to talk Chris into that, using the argument that's it's cheaper than a pool but he declined.) So, for now it's the best 'outing' when nothing else is planned!

We ended up with quite a cute impromptu group at the splash pad behind Liberty Market. When a few friends texted me that morning, I let them know where we'd be and we had quite a group of bathing suit clad kids to play with:
Ethan was not happy about the water squirting him in the face, but he kept going back for more:

Where is that splash pad? I'm new to the Mesa area and I have been able to find them in Tempe.

That splash pad is at the Gilbert water tower. Off Gilbert Road between Guadalupe & Elliot.
