We repeated the story of Jonah this week for family worship night.
I got a lot of ideas from this site [that I borrowed].
We made our version of a blue painted paper plate fish:
& we played a game where Charlie pulled out a piece of paper from the fish's mouth and had to act out what it said, such as:
-pretend to be Jonah napping on the boat
-pretend to be the boat in the storm
-pretend to be the fish that swallowed Jonah
-pretend to pray in the belly of the fish...
I think we're going to use our fish again to play another game where we see what silly things the fish swallowed, including a little Jonah. I'm thinking a jelly bean, some money, a rock, a sock, etc... I think Charlie will get a kick out of that one.
